I obtained my B.A. in Sociology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, and my MSW from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.

I have five years of experience working with individuals, children and adolescents, families, incarcerated youth and mothers, and groups. I have cast experience in areas of concern such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, incarceration, family dynamics, PTSD and trauma, behavior disorders, and boundary implementation. My specialties include but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, PTSD, and solution-focused therapy.

My therapeutic style is “meeting the client where they are at.” I strive to focus on the main reason why my clients enter therapy while exploring the challenges and situations that led to the moment. I engage my clients in session-based and homework-based practices such as journaling, physical exercises, art and music, and creative ideas and practices that allow the clients to increase self-esteem, hope, growth, and the ability to function at their best in today’s society.
