I received my Master of Social Work, with an emphasis in Adult Mental Health and Wellness, from the University of Southern California. Throughout my educational and professional journey, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals and groups from various walks of life, including those within the reentry system, victims/survivors of domestic violence, and victims of crime. My clinical focus areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, crises, and other challenges alike. I enjoy implementing mindfulness and somatic interventions within my therapeutic approach to aid in developing mind-body awareness and connection. Additionally, culture and diversity are crucial to acknowledge in clinical practice to understand individuals and groups holistically. There is no formula to overcome life’s challenges and barriers, so I prioritize meeting you where you are, with empathy and compassion, throughout your journey and giving you the space to be the expert of your life.
