I have been fortunate to be in a field I enjoy and love. I am passionate about what I do. My own life's journey has directed me to my passion. I started in the medical field, including serving in the Air Force, then later worked for the Veterans Affairs while I pursued my degree in Counseling. I obtained my Master's degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010.
I have over ten years of mental health experience treating children, adults, couples, and families. I started private practice in 2017 and have since added experienced and compassionate Therapists to our team. I provide therapy services through Telehealth and In-person (Murrieta, CA, and surrounding areas).
I specialize in treating trauma and how it affects most or all areas of your life. I have extensive experience in addiction and substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I use evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Often, finding help or initiating that first step can be scary and daunting. I want to be there for you when you take that first step and continue your journey.
