I obtained my Master’s in Social Work (M.S.W.) degree, specializing in Military Families and Veterans, at the University of Southern California (USC). I graduated in the top 10% of my class and was accepted into the USC Phi Alpha Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
My background consists of working in Mental Health Crisis Units. I have worked with youth as young as 5 through older adults, Veterans, and Civilians, utilizing crisis intervention skills and techniques to de-escalate crises and assist in creating safety plans.
I am experienced in suicide risk assessments and SBIRT certified for Health and Behavioral Health Professionals. My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and high acuity levels of psychosis. Some methods I utilize stem from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive therapy, and Immersion Therapy.
As your clinician, I aim to provide a safe space for you to seek support and wellness throughout your mental health and well-being journey. I focus on the belief that every individual is an expert in themselves and build a client-therapist relationship built on trust and transparency.
