I obtained my B.A. in Psychology and M.S.W. degree with an emphasis in Health & Mental Health Across the Lifespan from UCLA. My background includes working in hospitals/clinics, community mental health, schools, and nonprofit organizations. I have worked with youth/adolescents aged five to older adults in their late 90s.
My experience includes working with individuals experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem, behavior management, and life transitions. I incorporate an Integrative/Eclectic therapy approach that draws on multiple techniques, intending to use the most effective methods available to suit each client’s needs best. Some methods used stem from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also trained and certified in Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP).
I aim to provide a culturally sensitive and nurturing space as a clinician. I seek to support you in reaching your goals to improve your quality of life and well-being.
